CNY is coming tomorrow, although I don’t personally celebrate, many of my friends do. For this year, almost definitely that I would spend it at home. And maybe some of you are too, so let's prepare that #GreetingsFromHome together with nice and in-theme style.
Two things that remind me of CNY, Cheongsam, and the color red. By desktop research, I also find that bright colors are ideal options. Again, since I am not celebrating, yet I want to respect my friends and personally I just find being in-theme is so much fun, so I always have some Cheongsam inspired clothing in my wardrobe.
And for this time, I picked a top from Dhievine Batik, that I purchased a while ago, and never had a chance to wear it. Usually I would wear Batik for Friday at the office, or any day meetings. And, from the reference I see, the Cheongsam would be body-fit, this one is not, but still showing a little bit of shape^^
Disclaimer: I took the photos on wooden material background, hence there will be wooden/beige-brownish shade appear from the back of the clothing

I pair this with a casual black pants, and for the make up, I go for simple one - actually that is how I always do my make up, simple, and play with the lipstick shades, this one is pinkish-red, I think. Then I wing my eyeliner a little so it has something extra.
15 mins of make up, ta da!!! |
That is how I do my hair, but since the length is pretty much covering the neckline at some point (I moved my shake my head a lot when talking!), I decided to style it with some half-up do, because it's still not long enough for a bun. I waved my super straight hair a little bit so my bobby pins would have some 'grip". Then I would use some flower earrings to finish.
This is my final look. I know the shoes is not necessary for Zoom, but oh how I miss those high heelsss!!
or..you know, fluffy sleepers instead^^ |
Wherever we are, let's cherish each moment!! |
Anyways, since I already do the look, I'll be Zooming some friends now!! But thank you for reading, I hope you enjoy this one. Happy CNY 2021, my friends!!
