Weekend activity ideas - Horse Riding

One of the perks of my job is being able to create activities while visiting some of the coolest places in the country, and abroad. This year, during the pandemic, we tried to slow down, and if we must do activities, we do it under a strict health and safety protocols.

Last week me and a group of participants went to Anantya Riding Club, for a short horse riding course. Horse riding was not a new thing for me, but I had never done it during my grown up moments, so it was kind of fun and therapeutic, seeing the beautiful horses.

Disclaimer: I visited Anantya Riding Club for work (as the event sponsor) with a group of adults in the middle of the week, at the end of January 2021, hence the situation and experience may differ.

Anantya Riding Club is located in Gunung Putri, Bogor. You can google search and get the official website, along with the address.

As we enter the venue, I saw some horses on the grass field, and I got very excited. I always like animals, the furry ones and horses in particulars^^

I didn't take many pics, you can see in the official website. However, the place promises a serenity, and the horses, they are beautiful!

We visited in the middle of the week, so most of the time it was only us (10 people). I would recommend to call first before visiting, so you can calculate the crowd (although I don't think it would be crowded, the sitting space and activity space is quite big)

Overall the place was clean, and the horses were healthy and well-groomed. The trainer was polite and nice. I didn't ride, I was in between being an event committee and try to sneak some pics for later story :p

Someone's peeking

I didn't get to ride, but I did have a chance to say hi to Barito

That's it. It's not much, but I hope this can also be a good idea of a fun weekend activities with your family. Stay safe and healthy!!

Weekend at a kid-friendly hotel in Sentul City

At the beginning of February 2020, me and my sister took our nephew for a staycation nearby Jakarta. My nephew is 10, he is no longer a little child, but still need that attention. So every time we have the time, we would take him to places where he can play, and us adults can chill. So we booked a hotel in Sentul City area, located near Bogor, West Java. We packed light, and planning two things: play and eat. Among several choice, we agreed to stay at Harris hotel. I’ve known Harris in different location from work, and one thing that I can say is: good food! I have had some lunches and dinners there, and everything is quite satisfying. We went on Saturday morning from Jakarta, it was a good decision that my sister stopped to by some fruits, because the traffic jam was so bad (via toll route). We planned to stop by near hotel for lunch, but it got cancelled because Sentul City area was also very crowded (the hotel informed us that there was a regular big religious event...

My work stations at home (1) : Outdoor set

Hey all! How is it going? I finally registered to one of Indonesia’s top unis for my doctorate degree plan, wish me luck! I still have one more options but it doesn’t start the registration session until early next year, so I will be waiting patiently about that. I have been reading and taking the test simulations with some books, and the tests will be next week, so I thought I will slow down for one day. I have done what I can and I deserve a little break >.<   It has been uneasy to switch your behaviour from working to studying hahaha. I mostly do my work inside, in a room, for concentration, but for the slowing down day, I’m just going to do a little bit of my freelance task, and a lot of Prime Video, I need some good outdoor set, also to get some sun because I have been spending most of my times in a room with an AC.   As per usual, I prepared myself in the morning with a little bit of make-up, just to keep my discipline in grooming myself, because as fun as l...

[Lipstick of the day] - Emina Magic Potion Lip Tint - 01 Scarlet

Started the week heavy. I heard unpleasant news from dear friends, about the you-know-what. I just hope things will be better soon. Right now we are trying our best to keep contact and send some fruits and meals, hoping they would get better soon. Meanwhile, please do keep ourselves healthy and safe, wearing double masks and wash hands, wash wash wash. And try to keep our mind happy, even if sometimes it is difficult. Today, I am trying to keep things as usual, getting ready, and do some activities inside the house. I am using this lip tint from local brand, Emina Cosmetics, my first one, to bring some colour on my face. It is a water lip tint with semi-matte finish, from 6 colours that available, I purchased the 01-Scarlet, which is the darkest colour of all (I purchased this several months ago).  The first thing I like about this lip tint, aside from curiousity because it is popular on the social media :p), is so easy to find. I got this from a mini mart at home! However, it is a...
